Hector Jalbert passed away Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015, surrounded by family at his home in Benbrook.
Funeral:
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Catholic Church, 5508 Black Oak Lane, Fort Worth. Interment: Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy., Dallas. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook.
Memorials: In lieu of usual remembrances, the Jalbert family suggests contributions in Buzz's memory to your favorite animal shelter.
Hector "Buzz" Jalbert was born in Salem, Mass., the baby of six children to the late Hector and Anna Fontaine Jalbert. Hector served his country with honor and distinction in the U.S. Navy and Air Force, from which he retired.
Hector dearly loved his family and especially enjoyed visiting with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him.
Survivors:
Wife of 64 years, Arlene Jalbert of Benbrook; sons, Michael Jalbert and wife, Terri, of Arizona and Mark Jalbert and wife, Nina, of Weatherford; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Lea Mitchell of Marblehead, Mass.; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a host of loving friends.
