Gunnar Allen Rasmussen, 66, passed away unexpectedly on February 9, 2019 at home.

Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 15, 2019 at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook 76126.

Gunnar was born in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin; residing in Wisconsin until he moved to Texas in 1987. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin traveling all around Europe while in school. Gunnar worked at Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad for 25 years and was getting ready to retire. He was active in White Settlement politics and was the City Magistrate.

Gunnar loved spending time with his grandchildren and serving his community. He rooted for his Green Bay Packers passionately, and was a proud owner of one share of the Packers.

Survivors: He is survived by his wife, Debbie; two stepsons, Jason Burnett and Judd (Debra) Burnett; one sister, Patty (Steve) Carter; five brothers, Scott, Chris (Shari), Soren, Robert and Floyd Rasmussen; four grandchildren, Chase (Kate) Burnett, Alexie (Bobby) Beauchamp, Jessica Burnett and Blake Burnett; two great-grandchildren, Reid and Adaline Beauchamp; and a host of nieces and nephews.
