Fort Worth, Texas

Gregory P. Johnson, 74, passed away Monday, January 29, 2024, at his home in Fort Worth, Texas.

Greg was born May 1, 1949, in Sandwich, Illinois to Leroy Robert Johnson and Betty Rose Kuntz Johnson. Though born in Illinois, he grew up in Fort Worth and was a true Texan through and through. They grew everything from blackberries to squash, but Greg was known for selling their farm-grown tomatoes, asparagus, peaches, fresh jams and jellies for years at Cowtown Farmers Market. He was a social butterfly and shared many special memories and moments through his time working with members of the community. He especially had a true love for his family.

Greg was preceded in death by his father, Leroy. He is survived by his mother, Betty Rose Johnson; spouse, Ben Walker; brother, Douglas (Steve Cain) Johnson and brother, Eric (Claudia) Johnson.
