Glenda Sloan-Patterson

FORT WORTH -- Glenda Louise Sloan-Patterson, 52, was called home by her Lord on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015.
Funeral: 7 p.m. Monday at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, prior to the service. Family and friends are invited for lunch at 3:30 p.m. Monday at the VFW Post 5617 on Cherry Lane.
Glenda was a loving mother, daughter, sister and aunt. She was a volunteer for Fort Worth Inc., Main Street Arts Festival, and past president of American Legion Auxiliary 297. Glenda volunteered with the Patriot House and Women's Haven.
Glenda was preceded in death by her father, Grover Sloan, and sister, Rita Kaye Sloan.
Survivors: Daughter, Tara Patterson and fiance, Terry Cunningham; mother, Louise Sloan; sister, Dorene Sloan; nephew, Zachary Sloan (Wendy); niece, Cecilia Smith; the love of her life, Steve Anderson; grandchildren, James and Joey; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
