Frankye Mitchell

Frankye Lou Mitchell, 83, loving wife, mother and MeMe went to be with her Lord Jesus on May 4, 2017.
Funeral service: 11:00 a.m., Monday at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park, Fort Worth. Visitation: 2 to 4:00 p.m., Sunday at Winscott Road Funeral Home.
Frankye was born May 27, 1933 in Gorman. She loved her family well with home cooked meals and tasty desserts. Her passion was reading and game time with her family.
Frankye was preceded in death by her parents, Charley and Cora Blanton, stepmother, Juanita Blanton Scott, and sister Bettye Cullins.
Survivors: Loving husband of 65 years, Don Mitchell; daughter, Marcia Seese (Scott) of Argyle; son, Mark Mitchell (Insun) of Fort Worth; daughter, Michele McCarthy (Fran) of Fort Worth; sister, Carol Williamson of Waco; grandchildren Kevin Wooldridge (Yuko), Daniel McCarthy (Hayley), and Justin McCarthy (Kaitlyn); five great-grandchildren, Kayla Wooldridge, Eisley McCarthy, Sydney McCarthy, Esther McCarthy, and Henry McCarthy.
