Faith Ehlke

MEMORIAL SERVICE: 9:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 29th at Christ Lutheran Church, 4409 Sycamore School Road, Fort Worth.

Faith was born Faith Mary Healey on February 26, 1926 in West Allis, Wisconsin. She met her husband Charles in high school. Faith and Chuck were married 70 years and had a life-long affair, a beacon of love, respect, and partnership for everyone around them to emulate. Faith was a devoted mother to Peter, Susan, and Bruce, the guiding light of her family and a joy to all who knew her. She was a Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader, horse show mom, PTA room mother, field trip chaperone, a swimming, riding, tennis, baseball, football, and gymnastics lesson chauffer, and a tireless supporter of her children. Faith was a volunteer for countless causes, and a longtime member of the PEO sisterhood. She was a voracious reader throughout her life, never had an unkind word toward another person, and had a smile for everyone. She sparkled. Faith will be dearly missed by her loving family and those she touched along the way.
Faith was preceded in death by her son, Bruce.
SURVIVORS: She is survived by her devoted husband, Chuck; son, Pete Ehlke and his wife, Kristy Westphal; daughter, Susan Howe and husband, Chris; and grandchildren, Kate Ehlke and Ashley and Carter Howe.
