Dawn Marie Day was born on January 20, 1978, in Abilene, Texas. She was a beautiful soul with a kind heart who loved deeply and cared for everyone around her. Dawn dedicated much of her adult life to education, beginning her career as a special education paraprofessional and working her way up to becoming a diagnostician. Her passion for helping others was evident in the work she did and the lives she touched along the way.

Above all else, Dawn cherished her family. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Rick, and a loving mother to her three daughters, Ashlee, Jordyn, and Gracie, who meant the world to her. She was also a proud grandmother to Cameron and Morgan, who brought so much joy to her life.

The most important part of Dawn's life was her faith in God. Throughout her entire cancer journey, she never lost sight of Him or wavered in her trust in His plan. Even through the hardest moments, her faith remained steadfast. One of Dawn's greatest wishes was for her testimony to be shared with others. She wanted people to know how deeply she trusted the Lord and hoped that sharing her journey would help others find the same love, faith, and connection with God that carried her through her life.

Dawn's life was a testament to love, perseverance, and unwavering faith. Though she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, her legacy will live on through her family, the lives she touched, and the powerful testimony of faith she leaves behind.

Dawn is survived by her loving husband, Rick Day; her three daughters, Ashlee, Jordyn, and Gracie; her parents, Pamela and Ralph; and her beloved grandchildren, Cameron and Morgan.

A memorial service celebrating Dawn's life will be held at her church, surrounded by the family and friends who loved her. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
