Daniel James Blas Pangelinan, affectionately known as Dan or Danny, was born on August 17, 1965, to Pedro Cruz Pangelinan (Ella) and Carmen Blas Pangelinan (Tugong) of the village of Yigo, Guam.
Daniel will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Carmen Pangelinan; sister, Marie Pangelinan Lumba; brothers, Gregory and Peter Pangelinan; nephew and godson, Christopher Pangelinan; brother-in-law, Patrick G. Guzman; and his grandparents, Manuel Perez Pangelinan (Ella), María Cruz Pangelinan (Jeje), Carmen Quintanilla Pangelinan, Gregorio Farfan Blas (Tugong), and Rosa Reyes Blas (Korincho), along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Daniel's memory will forever be cherished by his children, their spouses, and grandchildren: Leeana Pangelinan and her family, Jake, Joey, and Leia; Kimberly and Eric Kelly and their children, Jude, Jerard, Jeremiah, and Jordan; Christina and Dustin Alger and their daughter, Alivia; and Andrew and Meghan Pangelinan and their son, Alexander.
He is also survived by his loving partner, Patricia “Patty” Camacho, and her daughter, Amberlyn Kosaka, and Matthon Tomagan and their children, Amaleah and Malleah.
Daniel's memory will also be treasured by his brothers, sisters, and in-laws, including Elizabeth P. and Fred D. Ungacta, and their children and grandchildren; Peter B. and Marla K. Pangelinan, and their children and grandchildren; Rose P. and Pedro Blas and their son; Lena P. and Jermaine Tenorio, and their children and grandchildren; and brother-in-law Edward Lumba, and his children and grandchildren.
He is also survived by the mother of his children, Mary Perez; aunts and uncles Edith P. and Daniel G. Blas, Ann M. Pangelinan, and Grace Pangelinan; as well as numerous cousins and friends who will continue to hold his memory in their hearts.
Daniel's life was a gift to those who knew and loved him. His memory will live on through the family he loved, the relationships he cherished, and the many lives he touched.
