Dallas Maples

BENBROOK -- Dallas D. Maples, 77, passed away Jan. 6, 2015 at his home in Benbrook.
Dallas was born April 1, 1937, the youngest of nine children to William W. and Eula Davis Maples in Wynne, Ark. He was a graduate of Wynne High School and the University of the Ozarks, Clarksville, Ark., where he received a degree in Business Administration and Accounting.
Dallas worked in Accounting, Credit Operations, and Budgets throughout his working career. After forty years he retired from Great Lakes Carbon Corp.
For 25 years, Dallas and his wife were active ranchers in Ozark, Ark.
Dallas is survived by his wife of 56 years, Betty; daughter, Kellye Creech and husband, Stanley; son, John Maples and wife, Lucy; three grandchildren, Katie LeAnn Creech, Avery Erika Maples, and Andrew Ryan Maples; and one brother, Robert Maples of Springhill, La.
