Cheryl "Sherry" Furkin, 59, passed away November 5, 2018 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Celebration of Life: 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 10, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Benbrook, 1015 McKinley Street, Benbrook 76126.
Sherry was born November 5, 1959 in Fulton, Missouri to Kenneth and Betty Dunavant. Known for her sense of humor, her favorite quote was "I'll Stop Loving You When Pigs Fly". She is preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Monica Glasford.
Survivors: Children, Cameo Dawne Furkin-Guadarrama (Jon), Steven Charles Shane Furkin (Tammy), Colley Leigh Pettijohn (Brandon), and Cassandra Nicole Furkin (Kyler); companion, Floyd Thomas Freeman; two step-daughters, Stacy Furkin and Casey Furkin; five grandchildren, Michael Loftin, Mason Guadarrama, Cobin Guadarrama, Sydney Poindexter, and Nora Guadarrama; brothers, Steve Dunavant, and Dave Dunavant (Leah); niece and nephew, Kelsey Harris and Tony Dunavant; and many loving friends.
