Betty Long

Betty Jean Long, 86, returned to her Heavenly home on April 7, 2019 after a valiant battle with dementia. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace.

Graveside services: 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 15, 2019 in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City, Texas.

Betty was born September 7, 1932 in Wolfe City to A.P. Page and Dessie McKinley Vaughan Page. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Kenneth Noel Long in 2018. Betty passed away on what would have been their 68th wedding anniversary and is now reunited with her husband.

Survivors: Her daughter, Jane Johnson; her grandchildren, Clinton and Garrett Johnson; and her great-grandchildren, Garrett Jr., Jace, Amy, and Shelby Johnson.
