Betty Nolen Campbell, age 80, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2022, at her home in Benbrook, Texas.
Mrs. Campbell was born in Waxahachie, Texas on April 19, 1941. She was the youngest of four children of Henry and Ruth Nolen. Mrs. Campbell was a 1959 graduate of Waxahachie High School and attended Baylor University. In addition to raising her family, she worked for twenty plus years as an administrative assistant for a petroleum engineering firm. She was an active member of Travis Avenue Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir and serving in various ministries.
Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Johnny W. Campbell; older brother, Jim Nolen; and older sister, Martha Nolen Cline.
Survivors: She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Kristi and Trevor Ewing of Prosper, Texas, Jolie and Victor Hicks of Fort Worth, Texas, and Wendy and Gaetano Rotolo of Benbrook, Texas; grandchildren, Hunter Ewing and wife, Kaylee Vanstory Ewing, Ashton Ewing, Tatum Ewing, Anna Leigh Hicks, Jack Henry Hicks, Gabriella Rotolo, and Gioia Rotolo; sister, Virginia Cook of Richardson, Texas; and sister-in-law, Pamela Campbell of Dallas, Texas.
Funeral services: 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 26th, at Travis Avenue Baptist Church, 800 W. Berry Street, Fort Worth, Texas 76110. Visitation: 6-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 25th at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook, Texas 76126. Private burial will follow in Waxahachie.
