Azeneth Zizzo, born on July 14, 1947, in Del Rio, Texas, with to be with the Lord on May 5, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas. Azeneth’s 77 years were marked by an unwavering love for family, a passion for teaching, and a steadfast faith that touched many lives.

Before relocating to Texas, Azeneth served as a dedicated teacher, nurturing young minds with her kindness and wisdom. Upon her arrival in Benbrook, she brought forth a remarkable 35-year journey of leading an in-home preschool, inspiring countless children with her warmth and guidance. It was a true reflection of her nurturing spirit, making her home a sanctuary of learning and love.

Azeneth's profound faith shaped her life profoundly. She was a devout Catholic, finding solace and community as a parishioner at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, where she participated actively and found great joy in her spiritual family.

Azeneth was married to George M. Zizzo for 54 beautiful years, until his passing in 2023. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Azeneth is survived by her beloved son Nicholas Zizzo and wife Glenna, and daughter Deanna Pollard and husband Sean. Her legacy continues with her cherished grandchildren: Cecilia Pollard, Margaret Pollard, Jessica Runnels and her husband Tim, Joseph Zizzo, Jenna Zizzo, and Jacob Zizzo. Azeneth also leaves behind her dear sister, Rita, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family who will remember her with love and admiration.

While she is now reunited with her deceased family members, including her parents and brothers Armando Deleon, Abel Deleon, and Raymond Deleon, her spirit remains vibrant through the lives she touched. Azeneth will be profoundly missed by all who knew her, but her love, wisdom, and faith will continue to inspire those she left behind.

A visitation will be held in her honor on May 12, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Winscott Road Funeral Home in Benbrook, Texas. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on May 13, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Peter The Apostle Catholic Church in White Settlement, followed by a burial service on May 14, 2025, at 11:30AM at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas.

Azeneth Zizzo’s rich legacy of love, service, and faith will forever resonate in the hearts of her family and friends.
