Austin Newsom Pippin, beloved son, brother, nephew, grandson, and friend, passed away on October 28, 2023, in Fort Worth, Texas. Born on May 20, 1993, in Fort Worth, Austin brought immense joy and laughter to all who knew him.

Austin was an avid Pokemon player and spent hours immersed in the enchanting world of the game. He also shared a special bond with his two cats, Pork Chop and Khloe. He also enjoyed wrestling and Texas sports especially the Dallas Stars, Dallas Cowboys and anything UT and TCU.

Over the years, Austin developed a love for food and became quite the foodie. His adventurous spirit led him to seek out the spiciest dishes he could find. In fact, he even maintained a blog where he chronicled his culinary explorations. 

Austin was preceded in death by his brother, Nicolas Roye; grandmothers Theda "Mimi" Ellevan and Carolyn "Nan" Pippin; and grandfather Jack Pippin. 

He is survived by his adoring father Lee Pippin and wife Lynda; loving mother Melissa Mansfield and husband Brad; caring sister Catherine Pippin; supportive grandfather Jim Elleven and friend Laquita Helfenstine; aunt Tami Avalos and husband Rudy; uncles Russell Elleven and wife Gayle and James Pippin; nieces Olivia Williams, Madelynn Roye, and Tinsley Roye; nephews Hayden Roye, Rocco Pardo, and Eden Paschal; step-brother Luke Mansfield; step-sisters Lauren Jobert, Sarah Mansfield, Debbie Kellam, Crystal Watson, Lindsey Hester; and cousins Zac and Hunter Phillips. Austin also leaves behind extended family members and countless friends who will forever cherish the joy he brought into their lives.

To honor Austin's life and legacy, visitation services will be held on October 31, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Winscott Road Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Benbrook, Texas. The funeral service will take place on November 1, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Pathway Church in Burleson, Texas. Friends and loved ones are invited to attend the services and pay their respects.
