Annabel Frakes

Annabel Louise Osborn Frakes, 86, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Memorial service: 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Winscott Road Funeral Home, 1001 Winscott Road, Benbrook, TX 76126.
Annabel was born August 8, 1931 in McDonough County, Illinois to Gale and Jessie Mae Osborn. She married Jackie Lee Frakes September 1949. She and Jack owned and operated Jack's (Annabel's) Standard Service Station from 1968 to 1986 in Chicago. She loved working and had a strong work ethic. She was a wonderful mother, leader, disciplinarian, and friend. Annabel empowered Danny with an understanding of right and wrong and always putting family first.
Annabel was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Dale "Buck" Osborn and Robert Osborn.
Survivors: Annabel is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Jackie Lee Frakes of Benbrook; her devoted son, Danny L. Frakes and wife, Julie of Benbrook; grandchildren, Kenneth Frakes of Burleson, Kimberly Avery and husband, William "Bill" of Fort Worth, and Jack Frakes of Benbrook; great-grandchildren, Andrew Frakes, Tyler Frakes, and Cy Frakes of Benbrook, and William Avery of Fort Worth.
