Abel Cass Castillo, 89, passed on to Heaven the morning of April 13th, 2024, at his home in Fort Worth, Texas.
Cass, as he was known by most everyone, was born to Jose and Concepcion Castillo on August 5th, 1934 in Fort Worth, Texas. After spending his childhood in Fort Worth, Cass went on to join the United States Army and traveled overseas in the late 1950’s. After his time of service for his country, Cass worked in sales at different car dealerships in the Fort Worth metroplex. Shortly thereafter he obtained his real estate broker's license as well, and created a new business known as Sunrise Properties. Cass worked these two businesses for well over 25 years before retiring.
Cass was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Val, Johnny, and Leonard Castillo, his sisters Cruz Ramos, Vicky Renteria, and Lucy Renteria, and his granddaughter Josie Castillo.
He is survived by his wife of over 52 years Judy Stanley Castillo, his sons Michael (Kathy) Choate, Tim (Sherry) Choate, Damon (Martha) Castillo, Adrian (Sandra) Castillo, and Jason Castillo, and daughter Christina Castillo, as well as his brothers Leo, Edward, and Freddie Castillo , and sisters Gracie Renteria and Mary Helen Reed.
