Winscott Road Funeral Home offers complete pre need funeral arrangements. Our program is designed to be simple and understandable. You first select the services and merchandise you prefer, using our price list at the time you make prearrangements. You may select to pay the entire sum or you may select monthly, quarterly, or annual installments, and no interest is charged on the unpaid balance. Please do understand, however, that any unpaid balance is expected to be paid in the event that the death occurs prior to the plan being fully paid. Some families prefer to acquire added insurance to offset this potential obligation.

For your added protection, our prearrangement funds are held by a legal reserve life insurance company under the laws and supervision of regulatory authorities.

NO 1099's

You've probably read that some funeral homes place the funds from their prearrangements in a trust fund. At the end of each year the interest earned on this fund is reported as miscellaneous interest income to you, the purchaser of the prearrangement. However, our program works through Funeral Directors Life Insurance Company and National Prearranged Services, thereby eliminating your receipt of an annual 1099 designating interest income to you.
