Five Star Award nine times. In 2012, Winscott Road Funeral Home was awarded the Exemplary Five Star Funeral Home in North Texas award for the second consecutive year. This result is a testimonial

The Texas Department of State Health Services/Vital Statistics has presented Winscott Road Funeral Home the 2004,
2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012 Five Star Funeral Home Award.
Selected by the state agency, Winscott Road Funeral Home is
pleased to have received this honor for nine consecutive years.
"The award is truly an indication of a well-run funeral home," said Susan Rodriguez of the Texas Department of State Health Services/Vital Statistics in Austin. The Texas Funeral Service Commission in Austin reported over
1,500 licensed funeral homes in Texas in 2012/13.
